I used this after coming home from total hip replacement surgery. Though somehat heavy, it has a fabric handle on it to easily move it from a couch, to a chair to the car. It was comforatable and gave me great support as well as lifted me a couple of inches.

We had tried other cushions in combination with other cushions, fleece, and blankets, but nothing seemed to bring comfort to my sister's tailbone when sitting for long periods. We though we'd try this cushion and it has been a dramatic improvement in comfort for my sister. It is a plus that the gray side is waterproof. She likes it so much,I think that I will be getting a second one for in the car as well.
